Other Ways to Give Back… Your Time!

Get Involved at WRA

WRA alumni have many opportunities to reconnect with their fellow classmates, former teachers and even current students. Here is a list of boards, committees and volunteer opportunities we encourage you to become a part of. Currently, we have more than 200 alumni volunteers in various roles at WRA.

Class Chair: Encourage yearly support of The WRA Fund, the annual giving program, and stay in touch with your classmates by serving as a chair for your class. This is a perfect volunteer position for alumni who live far from campus but want to stay connected and make an impact on annual giving. For more information, non-Reunion year alumni may contact Director of Annual Giving Program Andrea Brechtelsbauer at 330-650-5885 or [email protected].

Class Correspondent: Keep your class in touch by gathering Class Notes, or information and news about classmates, for the summer issue of WRA Magazine. As Class Correspondent, you collect all of this information and share it with the Communications & Marketing Office for publication in the magazine. The Class Correspondent is the vital link! If your class is in need of a correspondent, please consider volunteering for this position. Please know that you can also submit your class notes at any time to [email protected]. For more information, contact Rose Vardell, in the Communications & Marketing Office at [email protected]

Reunion Committee: Help build the momentum for your upcoming reunion by joining the Reunion Committee. Encourage support of the class gift, or simply make calls to encourage attendance by your classmates. We always need alumni involvement to make your reunion as customized as possible. For more information, contact the Annual Giving Department at 330-650-4000, ext. 5000.

Advancement Parent Ambassador: Our Advancement Parent Ambassadors play an integral role in the success of current parent participation within the WRA Fund.

We have more than 30 Ambassadors who:

  • Assist by providing strategic insight for effective personalized outreach to parents
  • Advocate for WRA to set the foundation for enthusiasm, pride and connection with the school
  • Encourage current parents to participate in The WRA Fund
