Discover WRA Plan Your Visit Apply

Meet WRA

Welcome from Western Reserve Academy!

We are pleased you want to discover more about WRA. Finding your future school is an important task, and we are ready to assist you in this endeavor.

Western Reserve Academy offers an outstanding education to talented, motivated students and has a long tradition of placing its graduates at the most selective schools in the country.

Founded in 1826, Western Reserve Academy is located in the historic and picturesque town of Hudson, Ohio. We are one-half hour from Cleveland and Akron. WRA's campus, listed on the U.S. Department of Interior's National Register of Historic Places, is within walking distance of Hudson's town center, a welcoming spot where students can shop or meet for lunch.

One-third of our students are day students and the other two-thirds are boarding. With our 6:1 student-teacher ratio, all students become intimately involved in the learning process and develop close relationships with their teachers and peers. WRA offers top-notch academics combined with outstanding extracurricular opportunities.

If you think WRA might be the right place for you, we encourage you to schedule a visit and meet us in person. Please join us on campus for an Open House; programs are on Nov. 14, April 24 or May 15 and they begin at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Admission Office
